Treble in Leinster Hockey (UCD 3)

Its been long since I've given any updates on my well being and such. As of today, my hockey team, the UCD 3 is standing on top of Division 8, with one point ahead of Kilkenny, finalist for the Junior Challenge Cup where the final will be on this Sunday 19th April and finalist for the Walters Cup, on which will be played next Sunday 26th April.

Our last game for the league of the year would be on 25th April, a day before Junior Challenge Cup final, in which we really hope none would encounter any injury, (except for Steve, whom we anticipate might get hit again, due to his "bad-luck", sorry Steve, hope you'll have a better luck this time). On 25th, we'll play against St. Brendan's, the team in 3rd place currently whilst the title challenger, Kilkenny, will play against Wicklow, the team in last spot on the table. If we win, we'll win the division and might get promoted, but if we lost, just hope for Kilkenny to only manage a draw against Wicklow so we still win by goal margin. So, this Sunday, the Junior Challenge Cup, we'll play against Kilkenny, whom we call our archrivals, since we only managed a draw with them once, and lost the other game in the league. However, based on our track record, we're better than Kilkenny in this cup as in all our matches, we won by a margin of at least 5 goals. If we win, we've bagged a medal before playing the following 2 games next week. Go UCD 3.

As for the other cup, we'll be playing against Glennane, a team I think is 3 divisions ahead of us. No fear, as we have beaten in the semi final, YMCA which is 2 divisions ahead of us. The cup draws can be seen here. And by winning this cup (assuming we won the earlier 2 games), we managed a treble this year.
